Ukiah Valley is a valley located in Mendocino County, California. While not an American Viticultural Area (AVA), it contains the city of Ukiah, which is the Mendocino County seat and home to many wineries. As you move north on Highway 101 through Hopland and Ukiah, there are many Mendocino wine tasting rooms and vineyards. Lake Mendocino and the headwaters of the Russian River are located in the greater Ukiah valley.
